About the work

My connection to a hot beverage is also my heritage. Everyone in my extended family drinks tea or coffee, and everyone in a slightly different way. Using hues inspired by the different ways we drink our comforting hot drinks, these celebratory abstracts offer a sense of warmth and connection to our past, present and unfolding futures. This work pairs with Affinities in Tea and Coffee II.
